DOPPEL Suspends Activities due to Mitsu's Health

DOPPEL, just two days before their sold-out first live at Roppongi morph, have announced that they have been forced to halt activities for the time being, due to a severe change in vocalist Mitsu’s health.

The following was left on their OHP.

An Apology and Announcement

Thank you, more than ever, for giving DOPPEL your support.

At this time vocalist Mitsu is afflicted with sudden deafness (or, sudden sensorineural hearing loss), and it has been decided that current activities will be suspended.
We are terribly sorry for causing trouble to all the fans and staff with the suddenness of this announcement.

Under these circumstances, regarding the live performances in June, in-store events and media appearances, we plan to put them on with guitarist Yuina alone.
*As far as the 6/6 performance, “Invited musician,” participation will be as yuina (solo). Please view separate details regarding ticket refunds.

We would like to once more apologize from the bottoms of our hearts to everyone who had been looking forward to and waiting for activities.
In the event that Mitsu returns, we will strive more than ever in DOPPEL’s activities, so please, we ask for your understanding.

Ticket refunds for their upcoming two lives will be available from June 7th to the 17th, and refunds will be given after that period.

Let’s all wish Mitsu the quickest recovery possible!
