Another anniversary event is coming up and this time it’s Antic Cafe’s 5th year anniversary event! They’re actually in the midst of planning various events for their anniversary, but the first one has been announced!

It’s set to take place on August 30th, is called “ANCAFESTA’08「SUMMER DIVE」” and will happen at Yokohama Akarenga Souko Event Plaza on a special open air stage!

The event costs 5000 yen and they’ll be selling special anniversary goods.

Have they really been around five years already? O_O It honestly does not feel like that long, haha.

    I’m so happy for them. My inner An Cafe fangirl won’t stop dancing. I just wish I was in Japan so I could celebrate with them at their lives.

    And I agree about time flying by. 0.0

    Well done to them for staying together so long in the VK world.

  2. Lawren says:

    what about xTRiPx man?!??! ;o; they’ve been around for 5 years too ;o;
    and they’re having an event 8D
    lol yea i know…no one likes and or cares about them as much as myself >>;

    but it’s really good for an cafe :D
    so exciting to celebrate <3

    ^^;

  3. Adrienne says:

    Haha, they’re not half as famous as An Cafe though, unfortunately. I definitely like them better than I do An Cafe, they’re among my favourite bands. Although, no one’s as high as R-15.

    At least An Cafe isn’t going too over board like some other bands have been doing recently.

  4. Lawren says:

    I know, I know D:
    but it can’t be helped xD
    i’m just happy to hear bands staying together for at least 5 years~
    so many bands are disbanding now I’m afraid to try new bands >>;

    true say.

  5. Adrienne says:

    They are! I feel like more do now than ever, but it might just be because I keep up with it way more than I ever did before. A lot of it is more a hobby though, than them trying to make an actual job out of it, so I guess there comes a time where you have to ‘grow up’ and move on with your life. :/ I don’t like that part, hahaha.

  6. Lawren says:

    well…i guess i don’t think of it much like that because usually i’m used to the people here in north America who do it as a hobby, never get signed or release any singles x_x but it’s true.

    it’s especially sad when the bands have such great potential ;o;

    it’s especially sad when the bands have such great potential ;o;

    And oddly enough it’s the ones with potential who seem to drop dead the fastest, and the ones with the least potential who just won’t go away, haha.
