News on aki

Remember aki the vocalist for Laputa? Well, for a while now he’s been doing solo work but he’s been particularly busy as of late and there’s a bit of bad news for his fans.

So, let’s start off with the bad news.
aki’s official fanclub, “cesspit” will come to a close on August 31st. The reason for the dissolution is that aki’s contract with his management company, “C-block” ended in February. aki, however, is still continuing on with activities.

As his fanclub is closing, he’s having a two days live, last fanclub event on June 26th and 27th at Harajuku Astro Hall. There’s also one last one called “cesspit. convention final” which will also take place in Harajuku on August 8th.

One last piece of news is that on August 13th he’ll be releasing a best of album called “aki solo works 2005 – 2007″. Included with the album is a DVD that contains all his video clips, the making of his PV “PLATONIC” and a live digest.

The price is not yet decided.
