Fans in the Osaka area may not be going to a memorable venue any more. Shinsaibashi club ALIVE! has played host to many visual kei bands and fans are likely to have some good memories here. However, club ALIVE! cannot stay in it its current building and must move. Also, if you have any tickets at this live, you may want to check the date. A few of the details were translated below by Shattered-Tranquility’s Shannon.
From club ALIVE! account:
Shinsaibashi club ALIVE! is closing due to eviction by the new building owner. We will carry out all current shows as booked until the end of May, but all performances after that will either have to be rescheduled or cancelled.
From manager’s account:
So, I’m opening a new livehouse next to Sakaisuji. I’ll be the founding manager, so please continue to support me!
Honestly, since it’s so sudden, we’re running around like crazy.
If you can, support the owner by attending the final lives and support the new livehouse. It’s called Shinsaibashi paradigm and you can see a map posted on their Twitter for an idea of where it will be located. Hopefully things will work out for the better!
