The visual kei scene has been around for quite a while and us fans have seen bands change, come and go, form and disband. Unfortunately, we have news about another change in the scene–Sadie will be going on a hiatus after their live at Zepp Tokyo on September 21.
Sadie formed together in February 2005. This year marked their 10th year of being together as a band! During their years together as a band, they have been able to consistently put forth new singles, albums and other releases. However, while a decade may be a milestone for the band, it has also left the band a lot to reflect on. Ultimately, they have come to the conclusion that it would be for the best to go on an activity pause.
The details are a little vague at the moment, so please anticipate seeing the translation of the official announcement and member comments, if released by the members. We will update you accordingly.
Meanwhile, Sadie will be going on a tour starting in June. Sadie fans, if you were planning on going to see them sometime soon, now would be the time! Take a look at the tour dates and see if you can catch them near your city:
