Interview with L~Lotus~

L~Lotus~ is a five-piece band comprising of three ex. as milk members – 蓮華 (Renka) on vocals, saki and Takayuki on guitars, masato on bass, and YUJI on drums. -LEON- is a five-piece band from Gunma comprising of Yuji on vocals, Shin and Koya on guitars, Yamato on bass, and Masashi on drums. Interview with GLACIER

GLACIER is a five-member group from Okinawa, comprising of Makoto on vocals, Nao on lead guitar, Koujirou on rhythm guitar, Aki on bass, and Yuuki on drums. The band formed in July 2007 and made their major debut a year later on July 23rd. Interview with O-PARTS

O-PARTS is a two-man unit that started in June of 2009, formed by vocalist sho-ka (ex. Vogus Image) and bassist Jun (GaGaaalinG, ex. WAIVE). On August 20th, they released their first maxi-single entitled 「向日葵」 (Himawari) which included four tracks, all of which made it into the top ten of the Oricon Indies ranking. In 2002, Kaya made his vocal debut in the Mana produced two-man unit, Schwarz Stein. In 2004, Schwarz Stein disbanded, and departing from the label the band was signed to, Kaya became a free singer. Using “aesthetics” as his main theme, Kaya conducts his activities with the goals of “the revolution of the aesthetic senses” and the “liberation of sexuality” in mind, and manages his own lyrics, CD jacket designs, make-up and costume designs as well as the organization... born is a five member band that began together under RENNY AMY, which was active from August 2005, until December 31st, 2006. Thanks to Electric Orchid Productions, Ayabie is going to be heading to the US!

Details are:
June 15th @ Knitting Factory, NYC. [Open: 5:00pm, Start: 6:00pm]
June 16th @ 8×10 Club Baltimore [Open: 6:00pm, Start: 7:00pm]
June 18th @ Logan Square Auditorium, Chicago [Open: 6:00pm, Start: 7:00pm]
June 19th @ Safari Sam’s, LA [Open: 6:30pm, Start: 7:30pm]

The shows all cost $25 USD a piece, and ticket sales start on April 12th. I know in the past people have had trouble going to lives in certain venues in the states due to age restrictions, but no need to fear! All these lives are all ages.

Well, they cover a good part of the US though! And I can imagine it’s expensive to bring them over and go from NY to CA! Even going from Japan alone is extremely costly, especially with all their equipment and what not.

For NYC you can order tickets here.

The 8×10 club in Baltimore’s website is here. Click on Shows then scroll down to the bottom. At the time of writing this [April 12th, 3:40 am] the June llistings are not up but when they are you should be able to buy tickets from that page.

For Chicago go
here and at the time of writing this [April 12th 3:40am] the June calendar is not up, but when it is you should be able to buy tickets from there.

And finally, for LA, you can buy tickets here, but it seems that at the moment [3:47 am April 12th] the BUY TICKETS button is broken. If it’s not fixed by tomorrow, contact them about it.

Yah I am studying in Australia at the moment, actually speaking of lives.. I was following Ayabie on tour most of last year and never got round to writing proper lives reports for the really good shows ( I mean they were all good but some just stood out more than others xD) When I finish them I could submit, also :3
