Back in 2013, HERO‘s SARSHI had a little project going on called NANA (ナナ). Here’s what they were like then:
The band name “NANA,” which means “seven” in Japanese, originates from the members’ love of…wait for it…slot machines. According to their official home page (linked below), they’re a mix of pop, catchy melodies, and a touch of heaviness. They can’t be bound by a single genre.
They also have an impressive lineup. We’ve got some HERO, some SuG, and even some Sadie in there. There’s Rei Yamaoki (山沖怜), ZeeF’s Akihito Fujiwara (藤原章人), Sadie’s AKI; ex. SuG’s Chiyu, and HERO’s SARSHI. We can only assume which part each member is taking for now based on their band history; and it appears that Akihito Fujiwara is skilled at the manipulator.
NANA will release their first album “CALL US” on June 20. It will contain a jam-packed 17 tracks for 3,700 yen. (Are you noticing a pattern yet?) Here’s the track list info:
