It’s been a rough time for Visual Kei bands recently, and it seems that this sad day has come for Ms. LIAR as well. The band recently announced on their staff blog that they would be disbanding after a final one-man on March 27th.
This may not come as a total surprise to fans–since Ms. LIAR began activities in December 2012, they made it clear that this would only be a limited project. Over the course of 2013, the band would make their first two releases: one a self-titled, one coin (500 Yen) single available only at live houses, and the second first official single “Re;pray” which contains two tracks. Unfortunately it seems like this will be all of their releases.
The following announcement is from the staff’s official blog, and was also posted on all of the members’ individual blogs.
Important Notice From Ms.LIAR
Dear supporters: we have a big announcement to make.
Ms.LIAR will be breaking up after our March 27, 2014 one-man live “Be[Lie]ve your ReaLies” at Takadanobaba AREA.
We apologize sincerely for troubling our longtime fans and supporters with this sudden announcement.
The decision to break up came after a lot of honest discussion among us members, ending in us each deciding to keep on looking ahead and walk our own path. We hope you’ll be understanding, as this was the best choice to allow all of us to move on to something new.
Of course, we may be about to break up, but we still want this last live to go well–please look forward to it.
Our deepest thanks and heartfelt apologies to the fans who have cheered us on from the beginning, and our affiliates who taught us some valuable lessons.
In the meantime, Ms.LIAR is still Ms.LIAR, and we, the members and the staff, are not going to be dialing down the energy in our music at all. So we hope you’ll repay us by continuing to support us. There might not be many lives left, but keep on coming out to see us so Ms.LIAR’s music can reach as many people as possible until the end.
From all members of Ms.LIAR

It will be held on March 27, 2014 at Takadanobaba AREA, and be their first, and last one-man. They will be accompanied by opening act Lieselotte. The show opens at 18:00 and starts at 19:00; tickets are 3000 yen in advance and 3500 yen at the door.
