For the first time in over three years, Rayflower is making their comeback.
On February 19th, Rayflower’s “Narcissus” will drop in just one type for a mere 2100yen. The 6-track mini-album will be the band’s second, belatedly following the release of “Flower Language” in September 2010. You can still pre-order the album on CDJapan, but hurry – there are only 3 copies left available for the release date!

For those of you unfamiliar with Rayflower, you might recognize some of their faces…
Rayflower is composed of five members, all with colorful and experienced backgrounds. The keyboardist/producer is SOPHIA’s own 都 啓一 (Miyako Keiichi). On drums, there’s Sakura (ex-L’arc~en~Ciel, ZIGZO). Guitarist YUKI is best-known for his work with ∧ucifer and his support work with Acid Black Cherry. Bassist IKUO is formerly of Lapis Lazuli and BULL ZEICHEN 88. Lastly, 田澤孝介 (Tazawa Takayuki) has a long history, including vocal work with SPIRAL LIFE and エルニシオン(ellenision).
This super band was most active in 2010, a period in which they put out one mini-album and several singles. They have performed several live shows since then, as well as uploading videos to their YouTube channel somewhat frequently. But, fans will surely be looking forward to this long-awaited masterpiece.
