Яe:sK announced today that their bassist Kouki will leave the band after their sponsorship event on February 1st.
bo-ya says in his blog that even though it’s sudden, it’s a result they came to after several discussions with the members, and he thinks it’s a good decision for the futures of both Kouki and Яe:sK. He says he’s glad to have been able to put the result of being in a band together for two years on their first single Dekiai Asymmetry, and that even though they won’t be in a band together after the 1st, they’ll definitely stay friends from now on as well.
Kouki apologizes that the announcement was so sudden, but asks people to understand because it was a result they came to together. He says during the time he’s been in the band he’s met and parted with a lot of people, gotten a lot of experiences, and that at least during the past two years the band has been his everything. He says he’s sad he can’t perform with the others anymore, but that they’ll stay friends, and he’s not going to quit music. He also mentions some people cried today when they made the announcement, but asks people to not cry on the 1st, and asks everyone to make it the best live that’ll stay in everyone’s memories.
