wedday-down-to-one

Some bad and good news for Wedday fans. On the live of February 5th at Holiday Shinjuku, Reito, Hime, and Noa will be withdrawing from the band. Reito’s reason for leaving is musical differences while Hime and Noa both stated it being difficult to study and keep up with a band for now. They all apologize for the announcement, but thank everyone and will do their best to make the live on the 5th the best.

As for vocalist Wednesday (aka Mako), while he is saddened and upset by the announcement, he stated that Wedday will not be stopped.

Wedday will never be stopped for Mako, isn’t it right?! He’ll continue to fight -nod-

but otherwise, this is very terrible ;_; I’m very sad.

  2. Samm. says:

    WHAT. Aw no! D:

    Yeah, Mako keep fighting!

  3. Sephie says:

Shintomo> He really is Wedday. After all these many years of keeping it going, I don’t think he will stop fighting to keep it going. With support of his fans I think he can always pull through.
But yes, I’m sad over this too. I had really hoped that those three would stick with him longer, but I really understand their reasons, especially Noa and Hime. I think it’s good for them that they want to continue with school before they decide if they really want to be in a longterm band. Reito on the other hand sounds like he’s retiring so I’m rather sad that I didn’t get to see him perform live.

Samm.> That was my exact reaction when I read it this morning. I had a feeling there was a member leaving, but all three was a bit of a shock.
I honestly would really encourage the fans to drop Mako an email just to say ‘keep fighting and do your best!’. I think he really needs it right now.

  4. Samm. says:

Yeah, i was thinking that! An email would be a really good idea! :D
