club f-ever

club f-ever is a band I’ve been meaning to write up an introduction for for a while now, mostly because I admittedly love their concept, which is quite simply: hosts.

For those who don’t know much about it, host clubs are etablishments in Japan (and are seen in other countries as well) where women can go to have conversations, drinks, and so forth with (generally) good looking men… for a fee, of course. You can find more information about it online (there’s lots available) but a good place to start is wikipedia.

Anyways, I like their concept. They say that the members each have their own personality, which creates part of the charm to their stage performances. The members of the band are as follows.

clubfever

Vocals - 蓮 (Ren) (ex-NERO, ex-13Kaidan)
Guitar - フミ (Fumi)
Guitar - 譲流 (Yuzuru)
Bass - 瞬 (Shun)
Drums - 遥 (Haru)

Each of the member’s have their own personal sites, so if you’re interested in checking them out, click their names.

The band formed in May of last year, and started performing on August 13th, with their first live being at Ikebukuro Cyber. Since then they have held a few lives within the Tokyo area, and have a few more lives planned in the upcoming weeks.

On their OHP, the band has also uploaded a ‘gift’, which you can assume by the attire it was meant for the holidays, but it’s still up there, so here it is:

Unfortunately, there’s not much about their music as of yet. So while they have the visual side built up well, the true test will be if they can make music to match.

  1. I was pretty sure I had introduced them ! o__O
Must be on another site or forum xD Anyway, their concept is kinda fun, I hope they sound nice, I met some hosts who were trying to play VK once, but it was horrible…

    • Hahaha, well, there are some visual band members who also are hosts (can’t blame them; it can be great money) so this is kind of the reverse… without the great income. Haha
