Well, they’re not over quite yet, but it’s happening soon.
At the end of last year, Kuroyuri to Kage announced that following their upcoming one-man show on August 4, 2018 at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU, they will disband. The official announcement gives no hint as to why the band is breaking up; it merely announces the news and asks fans to support them until the end.
Kuroyuri to Kage started up in 2014 under the label Ains, but announced their departure from the label in 2016. They’ve been on their own since then and have built up a loyal following. Fans must be disappointed to see them break up so soon.
Their last tour will kick off in May 2018 and make stops around Japan. Until then, they have plenty of event lives they will participate in, so check their website (linked below) if you have time to go.
