It seems musical differences are driving bands apart left and right. If you are a fan of ALCX5, you’ll need to say good-bye. If you want to say good-bye in person, there will still be two more lives to see them, so try to fit it into your schedule if you can. And if you’re wanting to know more, we have some of the good-bye comments for you, translated by Shattered Tranquility’s Shannon!
This is ALCX5’s SHU.
I have an important announcement for you all.
ALCX5 will disband following our 2.26 one-man live.
Below is the official reference.
An Important Announcement from ALCX5
Thank you for your continuous support for ALCX5.
We have an important announcement for all of our fans and staff.
Following our 1st anniversary & YUDAI birthday one-man live on 2.26 (Thu) at Ikebukuro RUIDO K3, we will disband.
At the end of November, SHU said that he wanted to continue on with music in a different way. As a result of a meeting yesterday, 12.4, between staff and members, we ultimately decided upon disbandment.
This must be a painful announcement for all of our supportive fans, but so that fans will enjoy our remaining 3 shows on 12.25, 2.5, and 2.26, both members and staff will perform with all of our power.
We ask from the bottom of our hearts that you please continue to give us your unchanging support until the last day.
SHU YUDAI All Staff
Everyone, I am truly sorry for saddening you all due to my selfish circumstances.
We’ll continue activities for the remaining three months to the best of our abilities, so please lend us your support until the end.
First of all, I’m really sorry to all of our supportive Fivers and Fiver Boys that things ended up like this.
SHU told me that he wanted to play different music. I worried a lot over it, but in the end, I made the decision to respect SHU’s wishes.
Because of his strong will, it seems like he has ended up betraying his fans.
We will play our remaining 3 lives with everything we’ve got so that everyone can enjoy. Please give us your support.
How do you feel about this, ALCX5 fans? Do you feel like SHU is betraying his fans? Or is he doing the right thing by following his own path? If you simply can’t stand to see them disband, you may want to go to one of these last two lives.
