The closure on MEJIBRAY‘s supposed activity pause is becoming clearer.

As of December 31, 2017, the contracts for MEJIBRAY’s vocalist Tsuzuku and bassist Koichi have ended. That means they are not only no longer affiliated with the band MEJIBRAY, but they’re also out of their management company entirely. Tsuzuku has not had a public social media account for a while now, but bassist Koichi has made his official Twitter account private.

Drummer Meto is still in the company; he’ll be the vocalist of a session band taking place on January 17 in Fukui prefecture. He’ll be singing under the name of Yutaro (由太郎). Supporting members will be Arlequin‘s Nao and DIAURA‘s Kei on guitar, NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST‘s Masa on bass, and DIAURA‘s Tatsuya on drums. For ticket information, check out MEJIBRAY’s official website (linked below).

As for guitarist MiA, he’s making a living as a session guitarist, songwriter, casting agent, PR agent, event planner, and advertiser. He’s still quite active on Twitter and Instagram. MiA will also be playing in MUCC’s PANDORA JUKE BOX session lives on January 15 and 16 in Osaka; and January 29 and 30 in Tokyo. MUCC‘s Tatsuro will be on vocals, MiA on guitar, NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST‘s Masa on bass, and ex. Fuji Fabric‘s Fusafumi Adachi on drums. This Instagram photo has all the details.

MEJIBRAY may be over, but it looks like at least two of the members will remain active for now. Keep checking back for updates!
