Hallo, ST-ers! I hope you’ve been having a fantastic week! Ern’s been busy digging away at the internet archives for all of your latest v-kei news, but it looks like I missed a couple of releases for this week. This week, we celebrated releases from FEST VAINQUEUR and BASH! Read more
Have you guys heard of Corpse Corps? It seems like quite a few VK veterans have come back from the dead, so to speak. Let’s check them out!
Back in April, we learned some unfortunate news from Awoi regarding their activities
, and slowly we’re finishing out their oneman tour and preparing for their disbandment. On August 20th, “AWOI BEST” will come out in two types, both of which you can preorder at the release links below. Read more

First off, they’re welcoming their new bassist KAZAMI to their ranks after the departure of Ryo back in April, bringing them back up to a four-piece band!

Chanty – who we have talked so much about lately – has quite a proposal for all you fans out there!
Hey, hey, hey, lovely ST-ers! Have you been enjoying summer vacation so far? I sure have. I spent another lazy week doing…well…lazy things. You know what takes up a lot of my lazy time? Twitter.
And, man, are there some funny people in the visual kei world on Twitter. Remember that time RUKI from the GazettE looked almost scarily similar to Cruella Deville? Or Ice from Black Gene for the Next Scene‘s nonsensical romaji Tweets? I find a lot of gems scrolling through my favorites, but those are just a couple. So, that brings me to the question I have for you all this week:
What are some of the funniest visual kei social networking posts (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) you’ve seen? Are there bandmen you follow on Twitter just because they’re funny?
It’s a pretty non-serious question, but I haven’t been feeling all that serious this week. If you have links to posts or photos, that would be even better. Just make sure to keep it appropriate, folks, and laugh away!
Everything seemed to be going well for Mebius with their lives and the release of their third single. We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but another drummer is leaving their band. Mebius fans, especially fans of Sunny, might take this hard, but both the band and Sunny still have plans ahead.
Some big news for fans of Arlequin! This band, while not even a year old, has truly been rocking the scene, and are preparing for yet another single release! [ 墓穴]

Within the week, they’ve announced full details regarding their fifth single and second since they joined PS Company, 「アクメ狂詩曲」(Akume Rhapsody)! It’ll come out on August 20th and like their other singles, it’ll come in two types, a Limited and a Regular type, and both are available through CDJapan.
And like their other singles, the cover is a tad risqué — check out more below! Read more
