The session band 「Childhood」 has put their session activities to an end, and has instead as of December 26th have become a full-fledged band called 「Hydra」.

Guitar - Hiyro
Guitar - BAL
Drums - Iori (ex-CELLT, ex-Kurikara Support)
There are two photos on each member’s profile page, so check their OHP out if you want to see a little bit more of their look! I think that for a brand new band they look really cool.

The band has a few lives lined up for this month, and while no news of a release is present quite yet, hopefully we’ll be able to hear from them soon!

Sayuki Becomes Sick

Sayuki, the guitarist of Ellseed was promptly rushed to the hospital after their live on December 29th. The ohp does not directly state the reason for this either than it being that his physical condition and health were in a bad state. Nothing is to happen for their lives between December 31st to January 8th. All the members hope for a speedy recovery for Sayuki so they can continue on as 5 members. As for the fans, rest assured that Ellseed will continue on as 4 members until Sayuki’s condition is better.

AZ just updated about her new band’s homepage! Ah well not much is up besides their profile and we can only wait to see their visuals or hear their music. So the band is starting the New Year off right! Arian:rhod had their first official live at the CROW MUSIC event we talked about here. I am super excited about this band!

I really hate making posts like this. I also would hate to have to disable direct linking entirely (all that I host would suffer). Please stop direct linking from this site. If there is an image you want to use…save it and upload it on imageshack, photobucket, or various other image hosting sites. We don’t own the images of the artist used on this page but I pay for the bandwidth/space. So with that in mind all I am asking is stop direct linking…please? The only thing it does is make me replace the hotlinked image with a picture of an ass. Give us both a break, save the images and upload them yourself.

Its that time again, time for the random fact of the day. Today’s random fact comes from Kousei of Drop Star Shooting. In his blog he mentioned something pretty intense. What did he say exactly? Well…he stated that when he takes a shower he drinks the water from the shower.
What does Big Ern do in the shower? It is kind of personal but I will tell you. I sing the Bee Gee’s Stayin’ Alive while in the shower. Now I leave you with that mental image.

D’LORE site renewal and more!

D’LORE has renewed their site and updated with a new look!
I think these colors, as well as the costuming, look amazing. They’ve kicked off 2009 with not only the new look, but a release as well. At their lives on January 1st and 5th, they sold limited copies of the song “Conflict with Void” with special member designed jackets for 500 yen. Hopefully 2009 will bring another release that is easily available to all fans.
Also, if you remember, I posted about the members opening up their own blogs on Ameblo a little while back. At the time, You’s blog URL was not working from the link in the mail magazine. Luckily I was able to find the URL and his blog can be found here: http://ameblo.jp/wipe-off-666.

More Info on An Cafe’s New Releases

Today seems to be a big day for An Cafe news. An Cafe has posted some more info on their upcoming releases. Firstly, they have decided a name for their new single, which I talked about here. The decided name will be “AROMA” The single comes in 2 types, the limited containing 2 songs and 1 DVD clip will be sold for 1800 yen and the regular edition containing 3 songs will be sold for 1260 yen.
Along with this release is a live DVD of footage from their world tour last year. It will be called “LIVE CAFE・TOUR’08 NYAPPY GO AROUND THE WORLD” which will be sold for 4980 yen.

Irokui joins HearJapan!

Iro Kui Joins HearJapan (Visual Kei Week Day 4)Yokohama, Japan - January 4, 2009 - Today is the last and final major band announcement as part of Visual Kei week at HearJapan. The last band to be revealed is Iro kui. Iro kui is a visual kei outfit that is cute, cool and knows how to have a good time. Their spectacular live performances have given them an incredible fan base in a very short amount of time. Iro kui is a band that respects their fans greatly and wouldn’t have a show without deep fan interaction. Their musical platter covers a wide range of styles ranging from ferociously hard to soothing and relaxing.
HearJapan is offering two of the band’s releases from 2008, ‘Utau Kuchibiru’ and ‘Mrs. Albino To Mr. Carbon’. In addition to the 9 song initial offering, there is a detailed review of Iro kui’s tour finale that happened this past November on the site. This will give a good idea to fans of the band outside of Japan about the band as they have never toured outside of Japan.

An Cafe has decided to put out a new release on March 11th, 2009. The title of the single has been undecided at the moment, but the single will be released in 2 versions: Limited and Regular. Along with this single will be a live DVD release with footage from their world tour.

Kra has updated their site with more information on their upcoming album Life ~Today is a very good day to Die~ set to be released February 4th, 2009 (a month today). They have included a PV preview for their song “Marry” and along with that, they have set up a schedule when each song will have their own preview posted up. So be sure to check that out.

Karma-Shenjing news

Karma-Shenjing has announced that their basist SAKIKA has decided to leave the band on January 10th. Afterwards, the band will also be going on an activity pause.
SAKIKA said that it was on New Year’s when he realized that he wanted to leave the band, and therefore the announcement was hurried. His reason for leaving is because he feels that the activities in the band are currently not fitting in with his own ideals. He apologizes to everyone who has been supporting him, but hopes that everyone can understand he needs to find his own place.
YUKITO wrote about the pause, saying that they have not decided what they will do after the 10th, and therefore have decided to think positively, and to take a temporary pause.

Seven years

the GazettE is having their seventh year anniversary live on March 10th! (Can you believe it’s been seven years already?).
The live will be called 「7-SEVEN」 and will take place at Mukuhari Messe Kokusaitenjijou 9.10 Hall. The show opens at 5:30, start an hour later and costs 6300 yen to attend. Tickets go on sale February 14th.

Dolly’s official fanclub

Dolly has started up an official fanclub called 「Bonnie」. The fanclub costs 1000 yen for the admission fee, and 4000 yen a year.
What do you get? Well, you get a member ID, newsletter that comes out four times a year, priority sales on tickets, goods that are limited to fanclub members only as well as opportunities to participate in member only events!
