Dada just tweeted that he uploaded a new song to Velvet Eden’s myspace called Confession of Mask. So far there have been 15 listens to the song, so after you hear the new tune – be sure to leave him a message on myspace or twitter letting him know if you liked the song.

Great news for all トーマス (THOMAS) and As if in the darkness’ fans! The band has announced a coupling tour and a two-man live, which will mark the tour’s end.

The tour will be held under the name「激情の黙示録」(Gekijou no Mokushiroku). Unfortunately there are not a lot of details concerning other participating bands, so let me share the dates and venues only:

2nd full-album for -OZ-

We have mentioned some time ago about the fact that -OZ- is planning to release a full-album and finally there are some details available about it!

It will be entitled 「Rouge」and will go on sale on November 10th in two types – a limited type with a bonus DVD and a regular type with 2 bonus tracks. The CD tracklist is as follows:

New Live&Document DVD for Plastic Tree

Plastic Tree have announced that they’ll be releasing a new Live&Document DVD on October 27th!

The DVD will be entitled 「Ch.P」and will include following footage:

・ Recording of 「ムーンライト ————。」(Moonlight)
・ Live & rehersal footage from the tour called 「Strange Fruits-奇妙な果実-」(Strange Fruits-Kimyou na Kajitsu-), which was held in May and commemorated the band’s 15th anniversary
・ Live & rehersal footage from their live 「テント ②」, which took place on August 13th at Nippon Budoukan

As a bonus, if you purchase the release, you will get an original Plastic Tree T-shirt. The DVD costs 10.000 yen and if you’re interested, don’t forget to pre-order it!

Some time ago we have talked about MUCC’s new single and then we have only mentioned that they will be releasing a full-album! However, now we have more details available!

SuG’s first DVD-single

SuG have announced that they’ll be releasing their first DVD-single on November 17th.

The title of the single will be 「無条件幸福論」(Mujouken Koufukuron) and it will come in two types, both for 1800 yen. Each type will include a PV to the title song and some special footage. According to CDJapan, Type A will also include ” recording scene, shooting jacket and video clip (making-of), off shot of live performance in Taiwan and Singapore, and more” and Type B – “shooting jacket, audition scene, and more”

Don’t forget to pre-order the release and support the band: Type A & Type B

Anyway, to commemorate the release the band will have a short standing oneman tour called 『crazy“LIVE”coaster』:

Awesome news for all DEATHGAZE fans – the band is going to release a full-album soon! I believe that there has been some information about that fact for some time already, but there weren’t any details available, so let me share them with you now.

The album will be entitled 「BLISS OUT」and will go on sale on December 8th in two types. Regular type will cost 3150 yen and contain 11 tracks, whilst limited type will cost 4410 yen and also include a bonus disc with re-recordings of 6 older songs – it will also come in digipack sleeve.

First disc’s tracklist is the same in both types:

ワン★スター (One★Star) is a fairly new band, which has recently joined Shimizuya Records (a label of Lycaon and Re:dis). The members of the band are:

From time to time we will get a new band who tries to be mysterious and secretive, revealing only clues to who they might be. In this case we will have to wait until the new year for a glimpse of the new band -varell-. So far we only know there are five members.

New band with some old favourites

レクレンズ (Rekurenzu) is a new band who will be having their first live on October 16th!

The band is made up of some familiar faces:

Vocals - みさき (Misaki)
Guitar & Programming – クマ (Kuma) [ex-beaU, ex-AibeLL, ex-GizeL]
Bass - ゆずき (Yuzuki) [ex-jail, ex-Homura]
Drums - まぁ (Mar) [ex-SectMa, ex-GizeL]

The band will be releasing their first maxi single on October 16th and it will be titled 「フィルターメィカー」 (Filter Maker). The single will be available for sale at CD shops around the country and more details will be released in the future.

On the same day, they will also be giving out a free demo CD at their live called 「オリジナリティウォーカー」 (Originality Walker).

The band’s OHP and schedule after the 16th has not yet been published, but we’ll update you when they are!

Introducing…D TV

As you know, 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) has their last indies live yesterday at Shibuya AX. A lot of news have appeared in members’ blogs since then, so first of all let me start with a new look:

What’s more, the band has opened an official fanclub as well! It’s called 「Club摩天楼」(Club Matenrou) and it seems that so far it has only a mobile site. They’ve announced, however, that on November 5th, they’ll hold their first fanclub-only live!

Toshi’s solo comeback

Some more X Japan news, this time positive and focused around vocalist, Toshi. Last time we talked about Toshi as a solo artist, he was going through hard times with his divorce and departure of Home of the Heart label. Now he is back and there is even talk about a new single coming out soon!

X Japan vocalist Toshi (44) recently stated in an interview that he will be resuming his solo activities later with a new single next month. He also mentioned that he will team up with Yoshiki to start a new project next year.

Earlier this year, Toshi revealed that he was divorcing his wife Kaori after more than 12 years of marriage. He also finally severed ties with the Home of Heart group (labeled by many as a cult), though he had to declare personal bankruptcy as most of his money has gone to that organization. In February, he held a “sayonara concert” to symbolize his break away from his past.

Now, with the help of his friend and bandmate Yoshiki, Toshi is getting back on his feet. In May, Toshi finished a piano and violin ballad titled “Crystal Piano no Kimi” and recorded it at Yoshiki’s studio in Los Angeles. The song will be released as a single in late September.

In addition, the two of them are launching a project in January called “Toshi feat. YOSHIKI,” though it will start off as just a solo project by Toshi. They are still determining how it will develop, though they seem to be planning to release CDs and hold concerts domestically and overseas, while still being involved with X Japan.
